Blood or Bodily Fluids Clean-up

Contacting BSW’s or Grounds personnel for clean-up of blood or bodily fluid incidents.

Grounds personnel have been added to the response teams for blood incidents which occur outside of buildings. For these reasons, the following procedures will be used to contact the appropriate response team in the event of a blood or bodily fluid incident.

 Please keep in mind that the response teams should only be called upon when an incident is too large for the affected department to handle internally.

Building Service Worker Response

  • 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Call 438-2032
  • 4:30 p.m.to 8 a.m.
  • Call ISUPD at 438-8631, they will contact BSW foreman to dispatch a clean-up team.

Grounds Response

  • 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Call 438-2032
  • 3 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Call Larry Milby at 962-9658 or 824-4782

Place this with your current Emergency Response Plan.
