Environmental Health and Safety

The mission of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) group is to serve as the campus advocate for environmental health and safety issues; to continually seek and support improvements in conditions and practices designed to minimize the risk of  incidents which may result in injuries, illnesses and/or property loss on campus and/or during university business and activities. 

EHS serves as the campus advisory of regulatory standards and ‘best practices’ which positively affect the quality of health, safety and our environment at Illinois State. The ultimate objective is to foster a safety-minded culture committed to protecting the well-being of employees, students and visitors to our campus.
